On the occasion of ASEBIR’s biennial conference 2015. 

CREA’s Research project carried out together with valencian genetic company, Sistemas Genómicos, has been rewarded with the best poster award presented at ASEBIR’s biennial conference, held in San 

Sebastian between 18th and 20th November 2015. 

This publication supposes a great innovation in the knowledge of meiotic alteration occurrence in fertile men through the sperm analysis by FISH (In Situ Fluorescent Hybridization). It allows 

having a new point of reference, more precise and reliable, of the normal ranges when a FISH test on sperm is performed.  

CREA has always put a special interest on in-depth analysis of genetic study of infertile men and the award to this work confirms that the path to be followed to obtain better results is to 

increase knowledge on diagnosis prior to assisted reproduction treatments.
